Datometry Sponsors All-Women Hackathon in San Francisco

Encouraging and supporting diversity in tech communities

September 14, 2017 – Datometry, the pioneer in adaptive data virtualization technology, announces a sponsorship of The All-Women Hackathon hosted by The Expat Woman on September 30, 2017, in San Francisco California, as a part of its company culture of encouraging women in technology.

The Hackathon features all-women teams (ages 15-65) who will develop a website, game, cloud-based service, application, or mobile application to address one of these challenges:

  • Engage more girls in STEM
  • End the Gender Gap in Tech, Startup, and/or Venture Capital
  • Empower women to break the glass ceiling in the workplace
  • Enable companies to hire and retain diverse candidates
  • Make the job search process applicant friendly for new immigrants and refugees
  • Improve a potential candidate’s job search experience to find the right role
  • Help women find and connect with mentors, recruiters, and investors
  • Solution to any other job search, startup, or career-related challenge

The team submissions will be judged by the originality of the idea, best technical specification, design of the product, and viability of the business model.
