Datometry Launches Industry’s First Automated Data Warehouse Schema Synthesizer

September 28, 2017 – Datometry, the pioneer in Adaptive Data Virtualization technology, announces the industry’s first automated data warehouse schema synthesizer, Datometry qShift. The schema synthesizer is a part of the functionality suite offered in Datometry® Hyper-Q QueryIntelligence Version 3.0 which provides enterprises with a fast and detailed analysis of their data warehouse re-platforming workloads and feature gaps so that enterprises can execute their cloud-native strategies with confidence and visibility.

Using Datometry qShift to automatically and quickly generate the database schema (tables, views, functions, and types) for the target cloud data warehouse, enterprises can save months of manual effort and significant expense that is typical in a data warehouse re-platforming project.

“When we began implementing our flagship product Datometry Hyper-Q in data warehouse re-platforming initiatives for Fortune 500 customers, it became clear that having a fast, automated, and accurate schema migration was critical to the overall success of cloud data warehouse adoption,” says Michael Duller, Sr. Product Manager at Datometry. “With the availability of Datometry qShift, another key challenge in quickly and successfully completing cloud data warehouse adoption has been addressed.”

Mike Waas, Founder & CEO of Datometry, adds: “Our goal behind the continuous functionality enhancements of Datometry QueryIntelligence is to provide enterprises the ability to complete data warehouse re-platforming initiatives in weeks rather than months or years and to realize significant CAPEX and OPEX savings now rather than later.”

Datometry partners with leading cloud service providers and database vendors including Azure Synapse, Amazon Redshift, and Google BigQuery and is available on Microsoft Azure MarketplaceAWS Marketplace, and Pivotal Network.
